Fans can watch Attack on Titan’s Grand Finale on Hulu and Crunchyroll
The final chapters of “Attack on Titan” will be unveiled in the United States on November 4, 2023. Crunchyroll, the popular anime streaming platform, will host the event.
“Attack on Titan: Final Season – The Final Chapter Part 2” promises an electrifying conclusion. It will be available on Crunchyroll in the US on November 4 and in the UK on November 5, aligning with their respective time zones. The grand finale will be released globally in over 200 countries.
Hulu will also broadcast the series finale for its US subscribers. Crunchyroll offers a special after-party event, allowing fans to interact with the creators. If you’re catching up, both Hulu and Crunchyroll have the complete series for binge-watching.
The world eagerly anticipates Eren’s unleashed power on Marley, with Eldia’s fate hanging in the balance. Can former allies and foes unite to stop his cataclysmic mission? The climactic showdown promises an epic anime history conclusion.
Studio Ghibli leaves X (formerly Twitter) amidst Musk’s reign, leaving fans sad
Studio Ghibli’s departure from X disappoints fans, as the renowned Japanese animation film studio closes its official account. The page, active for three years, will shut down on November 3 at midnight. Studio Ghibli expressed gratitude to its followers, thanking them for their support.
The company rarely relied on social media, joining X solely for promoting Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film. Following the successful launch in Japan, Studio Ghibli chose to bid farewell to Twitter. High-profile accounts leaving the platform have become a trend, including Studio Ghibli’s exit.
Since Elon Musk’s takeover in 2022, Twitter faced controversies and a decline in global and U.S. users. A 15% decrease in global Twitter usage and an 18% drop in the United States were reported. Additionally, the platform’s ad revenue plummeted by 54% as prominent advertisers withdrew their campaigns.
Studio Ghibli’s departure from Twitter has left fans wondering about the future digital presence of the beloved animation studio.
Kadokawa Plans Huge Shake Up of the Anime Market by Launching In-House Animation Studio
Kadokawa Corporation, a major Japanese publisher of light novels and manga, unveiled ambitious plans for anime expansion during their recent earnings call on November 2, 2023. Their strategies include:
- Kadokawa will create an in-house studio by merging with existing ones and establishing new ones to address talent shortages.
- They aim to produce more seasons for anime series, extending their lifespans.
- Kadokawa plans to secure all rights for their works, encompassing publishing, merchandising, and events.
- They intend to expand globally by establishing a global rights division to manage IP rights in Japan and internationally.
Compared to the current scenario where only 5 out of 40 anime titles are produced in-house, Kadokawa’s new model will boost this number to 20. This shift aligns with the industry’s move towards securing full rights and self-financing, as seen with MAPPA’s success. Kadokawa’s strong position in global markets further supports these changes.
Ayane Sakura Graces Front Cover of the Seiyuu Grandprix December 2023 Issue
Ayane Sakura graces the December 2023 Seiyuu Grandprix front cover, her first solo appearance. The magazine’s special feature, “CLOSE-UP: Sakura Ayane,” includes an in-depth interview. It features comments from industry peers like Koki Uchiyama, Inori Minase, and others.
The December 2023 issue of Seiyuu Grandprix, featuring Ayane Sakura, will be available for 1,520 yen on November 10, 2023. Some retailers offer special posters with the magazine. Yui Ogura, a voice actress and singer, is on the back cover, promoting her latest single, “Empty//Princess.”
The issue also showcases other voice actors, including Aya Uchida, Reina Ueda, and more. The previous issue featured Aoi Yuki, Azusa Shizuki, and Aya Amane on the covers.
Levi Dedicates His Heart in the Latest Attack on Titan Illustration
Studio MAPPA revealed a new illustration of Levi for the upcoming episode on November 4. Satoshi Ikeda drew it. Yesterday, we saw Michel Sugimoto’s illustration of Pieck with comments from Hajime Isayama, director Yuichiro Hayasho, REVO, and Ai Higuchi.
Crunchyroll will stream the Attack on Titan finale. The story focuses on Eren’s use of the Titans’ ultimate power and the battle to stop him, pitting former comrades and enemies against him. Can they halt his mission and save the world?
Attack on Titan, based on Hajime Isayama’s manga, began in 2013 with WIT Studio’s adaptation. Studio MAPPA took over for the final season, which started in December 2020 and had 16 episodes, with Part 2 beginning in January last year.
One Piece x Casetify Release New Gear 5 Luffy Designs
